Website and contact data
We process IP addresses, request metadata, browser information, and server logs to deliver and secure the website. If you contact us, we process your message and contact details to respond. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR and, where relevant, consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Technical data is retained only as long as needed for security and operation. Contact data is kept until the inquiry is complete, unless legal retention duties apply. The website is hosted by an external provider acting on our instructions.
Cookies and analytics
A consent banner controls non-essential cookies. Full analytics and session replay run only after you accept. You can withdraw consent by clearing this site's cookies and the ewl-consent local-storage entry, then choosing “Decline” when the banner returns.
Google Analytics 4
With consent, Google Analytics 4 measures pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser type, and approximate location. Its _ga cookies can remain for up to 24 months. Google uses the IP address to derive approximate location and then discards it. Reports are aggregated.
Google Ireland Limited provides this service. Google may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. See Google's Privacy Policy.
PostHog
PostHog measures page views, interactions, device information, approximate location, and product events such as LegalWork download clicks. Data is ingested and stored in PostHog's EU Cloud in Frankfurt. If you accept, an anonymous browser identifier can remain for up to 12 months and session replay may reconstruct navigation, clicks, and pointer movement. Text entered into form fields is masked.
Before consent or after decline, PostHog uses cookieless aggregate measurement without recognising a browser across sessions and without session replay. Cookie-based processing relies on consent; cookieless aggregate measurement relies on our legitimate interest in understanding site performance (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object by contacting us. PostHog, Inc. is US-based; support access is governed by its DPA and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact chris@eigenweltlabs.com.
