Data collection on this website
We process technical data required to operate this website securely and reliably. This may include IP addresses, request metadata, browser information, and server log data.
If you contact us by email, we process your message and contact details to respond to your inquiry.
Purpose and legal basis
Contact data is processed to respond to your inquiry. Technical data is processed in the interest of secure, fast, and reliable website operation. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, b, or f GDPR, depending on the specific interaction.
Storage duration
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law. Contact messages are retained until the inquiry has been processed, unless legal retention obligations apply.
Data sharing
We do not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent unless this is necessary to provide the website, respond to your inquiry, or comply with legal obligations.
External hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider. Data generated through website access may be processed on the host's servers for the purpose of secure and efficient website delivery.
Cookies and analytics
By default, no non-essential cookies are set. A consent banner is shown on your first visit. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you click “Accept”.
Google Analytics 4
If you consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). GA4 helps us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser type, approximate location derived from the IP address).
GA4 sets cookies in your browser, in particular _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which expire after up to 24 months. GA4 does not store full IP addresses; the IP is used only to derive an approximate location and is then discarded. Reports are aggregated and do not allow us to identify individual visitors.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you give consent, all advertising and analytics storage is set to denied and Google receives only cookieless, non-identifying signals so that we can measure aggregate site reach. Once you accept, full analytics measurement is enabled.
Transfer to the United States
Google may process data on servers in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795). In addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are in place between us and Google.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics and the storage of cookies on your device is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act).
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser settings (or the ewl-consent entry under Local Storage). The consent banner will then reappear on your next visit, and you can choose “Decline”.
You can also install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout to globally prevent measurement by Google Analytics across all sites.
Further information on Google’s data processing can be found in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Web fonts
This website uses external web fonts to render its typography consistently. When these fonts are loaded, your browser may connect to the font provider and transmit technical request data such as your IP address and browser information.
Your rights
You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing. You also have rights to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent.
